The Beta Shares ETF Australian Review for 2018 has highlight again the grow of the ETF market both in Australian and globally.

In 2018, the Global ETF industry recorded net inflows of approximately $US 516 billion (the second highest ever) ($US516B). Whilst the Australian market had net inflows of approximately $6 billion taking the total FUM to approximately $40 Billion.

What is also significant is the number of new products added (38 for 2018) and the total number of products available (240) which shows that the industry is really maturing.

This is also highlighted by the fact the products are becoming more sophisticated, with new active Credit ETFs being launched in the last six months, including CRED, PLUS and QPON with more expected to be launched shortly.
