Accounts & Tax returns

AAS’ accounts and tax return service assists advisers and accountants in preparing their clients’ accounts and tax returns for Companies, Trusts and Individuals. If required, AAS can also assist in arranging the lodgment of the return on behalf of the client.

The AAS accounts and tax return service can also assist in providing the necessary minutes and other compliance documents such as family trust election notices and division 7A loan agreements.

As part of the service, advisers typically collect all the client's source information required to complete the return, such as bank accounts, investment reports, tax statements and upload this into the client portal. For a trading entity, AAS would also generally require access to the business’s accounts, general ledger, Activity Statements, and payroll.

AAS’ purpose-built in-house workflow technology then allows the adviser and client access to view their information online including, answering queries, viewing the status of the return, as well as any permanent and important documents relating to their return/ business.
